Golden Globe Nominees: Best Animated Film

My predictions: 1/5, picking only “Frozen”
Who’s missing? Epic, Monsters University, Planes, Turbo, The Wind Rises

Oops. I guess seeing these films helps. This is, however, the first time since 2008 that only three films are nominated. I’m saddened to see that “Monsters University” isn’t here. Both The Croods and Despicable Me 2 are on DVD, so I’ll watch those soon, while Frozen is still in theaters. Interestingly, “The Wind Rises,” which is eligible for the Best Animated Feature Oscar, earned a nomination for Best Foreign Film but not here, which is pretty standard for how the Globes work with animated foreign films.

Who will win? I think Frozen takes it.
