What’s missing? Django Unchained, The Master, Moonrise Kingdom

I’m thrilled to have predicted this category entirely accurately, and I do think that it’s a pretty great list. I’d be much more excited about Lincoln being nominated if more than just seven star players were officially mentioned as part of the cast. Argo is a strong choice, and, while I haven’t seen it, I’m sure Les Miserables is too. Two fun choices with tight-knit casts are The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which likely won’t be a serious Oscar contender for Best Picture, and Silver Linings Playbook. This doesn’t change much for the Oscar race, and we’ll have to see choices from other guilds before we know enough for accurate predictions.

Who could win? Probably Les Miserables.
