My predictions: 2/5 What’s missing? Anything from “Brave” and a whole lot else

This category is also completely wild, and I predicted only the two surefire inclusions, Skyfall (Skyfall) and Suddenly (Les Miserables). The other three nominees all come from noted popular musicians, with Keith Urban contributing to For You (Act of Valor), Taylor Swift to Safe and Sound (The Hunger Games), and Jon Bon Jovi to Not Running Anymore (Stand Up Guys). Only “Safe and Sound” is ineligible for the Oscar, and I’m going to have to make my annual playlist of Oscar-eligible songs (there are 75 in total) before I offer any commentary on the quality of the nominated tunes.

What could win? For now, I’ll guess Skyfall.
