Golden Globe Nominees: Best Animated Feature Film

What’s missing? ParaNorman

I’ve seen just one entry in this category, and that’s Brave. It seemed obvious that Frakenweenie and Wreck-It Ralph would make the cut based on reviews, and I had assumed that “ParaNorman” had a stronger shot than Rise of the Guardians, but it turns out that wasn’t the case. Instead, we got Hotel Transylvania to round out the list. All five of these nominees, plus sixteen more, are eligible for the corresponding Oscar category. I hope to have seen more of these by the Globes ceremony night, but I’m not rushing to see them before I see some of the more visible contenders in other categories.

What could win? I’ll stick with Brave even though it’s far from a sure thing.
