This Norwegian film is a stunning export that tells the parallel stories of two friends who submit their writing for publication at the same time. The film is particularly magnificent because it tells its entire story in its opening moments through a hypothetical look into the future where the two authors grin at each other from the photographs that will go on the back cover of their books. It’s a wonderful story that explores inspirations, love, literature, and so much more, and features standout performances from the entire Norwegian cast.
