This morning, SAG nominations were announced, with just a few surprises on the film side. I made the mistake last year of reading too much into the SAG choices, which used to come after the Globe nominations, and adjusted my predictions accordingly. The two organizations have different tastes, and, as a result, it’s important to keep them in mind. “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” which ended up being ineligible for SAG, may show up in a few places, as could “Django Unchained,” which was shut out entirely. I’m hoping for a few exciting surprises, and I’d be truly appalled if Nicole Kidman got herself another nomination for “The Paperboy.” Click on category headings for previous detailed predictions for each race. I’ll be back all day tomorrow with hourly reactions by category. Chime in with your predictions or thoughts in the comments!
