SAG Winner Predictions: Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture

The competition: The Big Sick, Get Out, Lady Bird, Mudbound, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

For your information: In alphabetical order, these films have one, one, two, one, and three individual acting nominees. “Lady Bird” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” won the top Golden Globe prizes, where “The Big Sick” and “Mudbound” weren’t nominated. “Lady Bird” has the largest ensemble with twelve actors, and all but “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” have seven actors.

Who should win? I’m so happy “The Big Sick” is here, and that would probably be my choice, though “Lady Bird” is a great pick too.

Who will win? That’s a tough call. I feel like Lady Bird is the safe choice, but it could be any of them except for “The Big Sick.”
