Golden Globe Winner Predictions: Best Motion Picture – Drama

The competition: Argo, Django Unchained, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty

For your information: All of these films are nominated for Best Director as well. Ben Affleck is the only filmmaker new to this race. “Lincoln” has seven nominations, “Argo” and “Django Unchained” each have five, “Zero Dark Thirty” has four, and “Life of Pi” has three. The winner of this prize has gone on to win the Best Picture Oscar only twice in the last decade.

Who should win? “Zero Dark Thirty,” though I’d be fine with “Argo” too.

Who will win? In a tight race between “Argo” and “Lincoln,” I choose Argo.
