AFT Awards: Best Sound Editing
This is the fourteenth category of the 4th Annual AFT Film Awards to be announced. The AFT Awards are my own personal choices for the best in film of each year and the best in television of each season. The AFT Film Awards include the traditional Oscar categories and a number of additional specific honors. Nominees are pictured in the order I’ve ranked them. Honorable mentions (in alphabetical order):
Alice in Wonderland, Daybreakers, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, Knight and Day, Micmacs, Shutter Island
The winner:
Inception had its characters and story live and breathe with its sound effects, triggering those within the film and watching the film with aural cues.
