For your information: Streep has 21 previous nominations and five previous wins, including one in this category for “The Devil Wears Prada.” Cotillard won in this category two years ago for “La Vie en Rose.” Roberts has six previous nominations and three wins, including one in this category for “Pretty Woman.” Only Bullock has never won, but she has two previous nods in this category and another nod in the drama category this year for “The Blind Side.” The last time an actor had two nominations in the same category and won was in 1992 when Tim Robbins beat himself for Best Comedy Actor.
Who should win: Streep (Julie & Julia)
Who will win: It has to be Streep for her portrayal of Julia Child.
